Our commitment to quality and freshness means that we meticulously pack and prepare every order on the day of shipping. We ship from our location on Holyoke Wharf in Portland, Maine's historic Working Waterfront (416 Commercial St, Holyoke Wharf, Portland, ME).

Once UPS picks up your order, a tracking number will be sent to your email. You can use this number to track your order all the way to your doorstep. When checking out, you can select a delivery date from Tuesday through Friday.

The species of Maine crab that is caught and picked for our fresh crab meat is called "sand crab," "rock crab," and "Peekytoe Crab". This particular species of crab does not ship very well live - tending to perish in transit. Because of this, cooking and picking soon after trapping is necessary.

Cooking and picking live crabs is a time-intensive and messy job. When you buy crab meat that has already been cooked and picked, all you have to do is open the container and enjoy. We would recommend crab meat, even if you could buy live sand crabs online.
